The Social Animal: Selfies are the new autographs.

So I was lucky enough to meet some more celebrities this week and to actually 'star' in a proper feature film!

For non-disclosure reasons, I can't say too much about it, but it's a football film about some celebrities who start a club. Two of the celebrities are John Altman (Nasty Nick from Eastenders) and Vas Blackwood (Rory Breaker from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels).

It was a fair size cast and crew so a lot of hustle and bustle. Although it was tipping it down with rain, so there weren't many people around. It always makes me laugh when you walk through the zoo with a celeb and see the looks on people's faces. John Altman is particularly recognisable, so he actually got a lot more attention than Howard Donald and Emma Bunton put together! Generally though, the public are brilliant, and leave people well alone. The only real exception to that was Keith Lemon. It took 8 of us to keep them back. Mad.

So I finally got my life long ambition to play an extra in a movie. Whether I make the final cut or not is debatable, but at least I'm in with a chance of being either 'Bus driver 2' or 'Zoo Guide 1'! It's always interesting to watch different types of productions, and I realised that despite the huge amount of TV work we do now, it's rare that I see any acting!

Since I'm playing catch up with my blogging antics. I thought I might as well post some photos of some of the other celebrities I've been lucky enough to meet whilst at the amazing Paradise Wildlife Park too. Selfies are the new autographs, right?
